Palm is getting into the holiday season. Hannukah begins at sundown today, and they were kind enough to leave a Palm Pixi, Pixi Touchstone Back Cover, and a Touchstone for review on the site.

One of the coolest smartphone accessories (possibly ever made) is called the Palm Touchstone. The Touchstone allows you to charge your Pre wirelessly. The Touchstone Charging Kit comes with the Touchstone and a matte, soft-touch back cover for the Pre. The Touchstone uses magnetic induction charging to wirelessly charge the Pre. It has a strong magnet inside the hockey puck looking device and the included back cover also has a magnet inside to securely hold your Pre to Touchstone. You can use your Pre, view media in portrait or landscape and use Touchstone features (if you receive a call or place your Pre on Touchstone during a call if switches to speakerphone) all while wirelessly charing.

PreCentral is reporting that BestBuy has updated their system with June 7th as the date the Palm Touchstone charger will be available. If the charger is available that day, the Pre will be too. What are you going to wirelessly charge? ;)

As if you didn't see this one coming, Sprint has Palm's wireless charger/dock for the Pre in its inventory system and it's going to cost ya. $69.99 is the price listed and it's not clear if that also includes the "Pre Touchstone back cover" required to get your charge on wirelessly (it looks like the back cover will come with this dock). Palm and Sprint haven't announced any pricing, but did ya notice that $499.99 Treo 650 with camera? ;) Via Engadget .
