Sprint promises 1st 4G WiMAX smartphone by this summer

Engadget is reporting that Sprint has promised to launch the 1st 4G WiMAX smartphone by this summer. The smartphone is expected to be from HTC and will be running Android OS. Sprint CEO Dan Hesse also said that Sprint will be bringing out "dozens of devices with embedded WiMAX this year."
