  Verizon Motorola DROID shows the world Motorola is back in the game

Verizon and Motorola have officially announced the Motorola DROID. The DROID has some very impressive specs:

1st smartphone running Android 2.0

3.7-inch (854x480) touchscreen

EVDO rev.A

WiFi 802.11 b,g

5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash

Slide out physical QWERTY keyboard

World's thinnest full QWERTY slider

GPS

Arm® Cortex™ A8 processor 550 mHz

16 GB microSD pre-installed; supports up to 32 GB microSD expandable

1400 mAh Li Ion battery

up to 385 min.USAGE TIME (CONTINUOUS

STANDBY TIME2 up to 270 hrs.

The Motorola DROID will be available on November 6th for $199 with a new 2 year contract.
