Palm Pre's sales numbers in June prove that it has found its niche

"This is going to be music to the ears to both Palm and to Pre owners everywhere.

While most smartphone news as of late has been centered on Apple’s dominance in the market, June has proved fruitful for its competitor. And this meteoric rise will more than likely not be stopping anytime soon.

According to a report by Barron’s featuring analysis from Charter Equity Research, it has been predicted that Palm has sold 300,000 Pre’s in the month of June.

Wait until Palm itself releases the true numbers until you pass judgment, but it’s hard to believe they will be anything but stellar.

So, save your applause for a few days but from the looks of things, Palm has found its place in the smartphone market." Via Examiner.com .
